  2. yes, but (speaking for myself) there was no point in me joining as sporadic dedication at times due to health fluctuation etc.

  3. we all have times of inactivity, I think I was about 13 weeks this year, 7 were holiday including some enforced isolation in Spain when I had Covid, some weeks where I swam instead, some just because I was too busy or not feeling the love.

anyway, happy to join if and when the details become available as my cursory search has failed.

  4. There was but it seemed that there were about 3 of us who actually used it and seeing as I was pushing out the miles it just looked like I was using it for bragging rites so I binned it.
Hopefully 2022 riding year will be better than 21, over 50% down on 2020 with only 5,930 miles.

  8. New shoes today. Sports direct specials £37.99. The last pair have lasted two years virtually to the day. They get a lot of abuse and not much love let's hope these ones last as long.

  16. Lovely crisp clear morning for the first commute of the year, the coffee shop I normally pop into wasn't open though so today is going to be a struggle....

  20. Naah - I was dressed for colder and working hard enough shoving that extra xmas weight around so I stayed warm :)
I always get disappointed with costa - they were one of the first UK coffee chains to sell cortados (which is my coffee of choice) but their version is a milky abomination...
