New fuel pump fitted, earth lead made for my ecu with a burnt earth, and tank, seat, plate and rear light cluster fitted. Just got to pick up some fuel tomorrow. now to tidy up…..
This side - one of my mates recommended Azzy paints, had a chat with them start of Dec and booked it in. No price discussed but I'll hammer that out tomorrow. I ordered the decals from Image works and were £55 inc postage
Ball peen or club hammer, that looks like a new covering on the seat pad or did you just replace it.?
Replaced - got it from Peter at Pro Twins (found him on ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264606292662 but https://www.protwins.co.uk/) great to deal with and quick shipping.
I've spotted that one, but i'd like to collect it direct and let them save on the 10% ebay fees / post & time, but they don't play ball with a discount.
Yep - £630. That's both side panels smoothed out (there are lumps / gouges / bad repairs etc) respray / stickers on / lacquer. Tail unit stripped / smoothed / resprayed / number board / detail / stickers on / lacquer Top fairing stripped / white "number board" outlined round light / respray / stickers on / lacquer Mirrors smoothed / sprayed matching red / lacquer. Was hoping for three weeks but he thought a bit tight so we agreed 1st March when he then said "mind you three people that were meant to be dropping cars in after Xmas haven't and I've just finished that so ..."
Went back and got the radiator guards fitted today. My advice is to get someone else to fit these, anyone else, but not me

Just bought a load of new/used bodywork for the lads rs4, £200 so far the rest I’ll repair as they’re not too bad.
I know but I want it to start off at least 9 tenths decent…….. Get your shower room/ paint booth at the ready EJ……..
Replaced the clutch basket / drum / plates etc. Took a worryingly small amount of time and it still works !! Nearly all the clutch rattle has gone - mind you it was very very rattly as it was very worn....
Spent part of the morning staring out the window with my Cocker Spaniel for company eagerly awaiting the postman. Me waiting for parts, the dog was there as the postie gives her a treat whenever he delivers a parcel. We both ended up disappointed at the site of his van driving straight past the end of the drive without stopping !!
Measured out where the bikes will go when I move my garage around. Tape measure and chalk. Thought about getting track fairings out and offering them up. That’s about as far as that got…
