Anyone fancy this ..?? So far I have c12 Ducati riders booked onto this for both days so if anyone fancies it, get booking If doing both days you can camp at the circuit and bikes will stay garaged overnight.
Ok, so now I have the 998 back to monoposto with 50mm carbon termis, I would imagine a noise test failure at Snetterton (going by other threads on here) is more probable than possible - anybody got a 916/996/998 with 50mm cans that has recently been through noise testing? And, is it normal to just ride up and give it a go, or (as it seems) does everybody seem to have a van and various paraphernalia?
nothing wrong with riding there...but to be safe I always made sure someone would have enough space to get it home if I had to ;0) and if its a loud day, they'd have to be pretty old and need packing to miss I'd suggest. Worth investing £20 or whatever in a set of baffles just in case...some testers just dont like open pipes
so who's doing this one Dibble? Andy B, Rally, Red Leader, Dave Phillips etc? I've got two weeks off starting that weekend, could be tempted...if I can pass the home test ;o)

I think everyone booked via me is going in vans, a few are camping also, the rest are in Breckland Lodge, I'm running a 996 with 50mm Ti pipes and passed noise testing there last year but always take baffles with me in case .....
Thanks Dibble and Bradders. assume you mean those db killers that many refer to, when you say "baffles"? of the motley bunch above, is anybody travelling to/from the north west (anywhere near Merseyside, pref) that has enough space to carry a binned 998 home for me, should the worst happen? cheers, Pete
Yep we would have beaten him........I don't think the DD bikes are as quick as TZ350 outfits and certainly not as quick as the ZZR1100 engined one (or the GSXR1100 Suzuki). I really liked Snetterton as it was when we was racing..........ao the video was a bit nostalgic for me..........on the second viewing I could still judge the circuit with my eyes closed until the new bits came up..... I may come up and laugh, sorry, watch on either day......not sure of my movements yet..........I'm only 40 miles away. AL
Oh bugger! Got to look at Anglesey, etc... just looked Snetterton up on the map - bejaysus it's in the middle of nowhere!
Just as a matter of interest I had a quick look at the Snetterton website and the trackdays listed........ ......The 18th August is listed, but the 19th isn't....... ......No Limits website shows both dates.............
