My H&M is plug and play replacement for OEM. It's important to remember to be positive with your shifting, I don't mean stamping it in, just positive. Also, they're programed to down shift on a 0% (closed) throttle. Any sniff of throttle and it'll feel very lumpy.
Happy with the QS on my 1260. Needs tyre calibration and maintenance of chain tension to keep it reasonably smooth. The V4s I took out worked well but was about the same TBH, maybe a touch slicker, However, it was brand new and not broken in at all.
