  2. Do you have a part number for the skid plate please?

  3. Yeah I run them... like them a lot. They are good quality and improve the looks of the bike

  4. Brilliant thanks for that. Just ordered them, and thought I might as well treat myself to some new bar end mirrors as well whilst I was at it!

  5. 97180071A here is the P/N for the part I bought.

  6. Awesome. Thank you

  7. Do you guys use any exhaust sealant when installing the slipons?

  8. I used sealant that does not harden and make a mess. Goes on easily like a grease but easy to clean. I will check what it is and update this post (not home at the moment)

  10. Lovely bit of welding that!

  11. Hi folks, newbie here - I will introduce myself properly in a post when my 950 SP arrives later this week.

Plenty of mods planned, so the great resource here has helped in many ways already - thanks.

I have been umming and ahhing about mirrors. Solutions seem to be varied. I'm very intrigued by the Double Take Trail mirror so may order those, however I found these https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/74366 and wondered if they would be ideal to stick on the inside of the handguards facing back at you?

Given the low cost, I may give them a pop, unless anyone else has tried already?

    Cheers

  12. Those are pretty useful for blindspots. I never use them on mine but several guys I know have them installed. They are more of complimentary purposes so you would still need mirrors.

I did use the double take trail mirror for over a year, but I could never see directly behind me.. Tested out some blindspot mirrors on the inside of the handgards.. see picture.. result I removed the double take mirror.
    I used these : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32873592898.html
Not prefect.. because I used the sticky tape and one already fell off.. But I see more in these mirrors than the double take

  14. I use FAR Viper Shield mirrors.
Great visibility, easy to adjust, They work similar to the original hypermotard mirrors you can easily fold them in if you have to.
The lever guard part fits in well with handguards

  15. Amazing, thank you. Sorry for my delayed reply - I hadn't seen any notification of your posts.

Just to check, are there the right ones? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/32502382...TynbYyhM6OY1gaHtzgxV9l1ppsBG-USAaAp49EALw_wcB

  16. Yeah that's them, just check that they come with the bar end bolts to fit them, i got the bigger ones at first as i assumed it'd be the same as my old hyper 821, but the 950 handlebars are 13mm diameter so I had to fork out again to get the right ones. The part number for these is G18BB930

  17. Reviving an old post, I've just tried fitting the skid plate, but it looks like I need a very long screw at the front where it bolts to the engine. Have you got any other pictures, or details of the screw you used?

Edit - I’ve sorted it with a long screw and spacer I had in the drawer.
