Alec at Crowtree made this suit for me a few years ago to my design. I’ve never worn the Jacket and the trousers for one season only. Amazing quality, weighs about 7kgs, full armour which I changed to the new D30 in the jacket. Zips together for track days which was always my intention. Been hanging in the loft in a suit carrier. Appreciate difficult for someone else to be exact measurements but it could be altered slightly. I’m 6’3 ( probably a little less these days ) 42 inch chest and 34 inch waist in Levi’s jeans, with a 33 inch inside leg. The jacket sleeves are a little short as are the leg on the trousers. I would say if you’re under 6 foot they’ll need quite a lot of adjusting. You can wear the trousers on their own as I had a buckle fitted.. All the badges which are original Ducati ones are stitched on by hand. Please PM if interested, happy to talk it through and for you to try on obviously, I live in Sutton Coldfield. Fantastic leathers - might have to take a trip up to view... Alec died quite a few years ago now, do these date from while he was still running the business (I believe his wife continued running the business for a while after his death)?
Can’t remember the dates, years exactly but yes these were made by Alec, he passed away 12 months later I believe. Appreciate some years ago but they’ve been hanging up in a suit bag ever since, the quality of the leather and workmanship is outstanding.
I’ve a one piece made by Alec in the 90’s and can attest to the bomb proof quality. It’s had numerous trips to the kitty litter, been patched up and still going strong as I wear mine in the cold months even now
