And because it’s freezing and horrible SWMBO has decided we need some sunshine to look forward to and has booked a 5* holiday in Corfu for June. It did seem awfully expensive when I looked at it at first but it seems as though all holiday prices have shot through the roof recently!
What was today, now yesterday, I got up at 5am to drive to the city of sirens. Apparently everyone had been let out to play again or go to work. The result being the traffic was like Wildebeests crossing the Serengeti only slower. Then I worked and organised things all day except for 45 minutes off from 12.15 to 1pm precisely. In that lovely interlude the dental hygienist stuck various metal spikes between my teeth and gums and attempted to pull my head off. It reminded me of a scene from the film Marathon man with Lawrence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman. In fact had my mouth not been so full I would have definitely assured her ‘ oh yes, it’s so safe you wouldn’t believe it’. Which she probably wouldn’t have understood at all. Then followed an extraction, of an unbelievable amount of money, made marginally less painful by the wonders of tap n pay. And the assurance that the whole delightful process would be well worth repeating in 3 months time. Fuck that I thought. I’ll be on my way to the MotoGP in Jerez. Now that…is the way to give a motorcyclist a decent smile. Will they never learn? I’m sure tomorrow which is now today, will be better.

I have the pleasure of going for a biopsy next month at the dental hospital! That’ll be a new experience Bit of a side step but this site is still running slow, any word on what’s going on?
#Mines also on snails pace again this morning. I won the bidding on a Denon rcd-dab thingy for a friend yesterday, so the monkeys off the back for now.
