Honda Thread

I have 3 Hondas, here’s 2 of them, one of which I had on her side last summer and the other I will likely sell in Spring. .

 

What about the one behind the bike. Let’s have a look at that.

 

Ahh yes my other Honda is in the background, old NSX, takes me back to my yoof.

Had one exactly the same apart from having a Yoshimura pipe. Lovely bike and still look great even now

 

I popped into local Honda dealer today to arrange a service. Trying to sell me an anniversary special (30?) fireblade. £1,500 over the SP. Probably worth it but I have little interest. May try the newer SP just to see how different from my bike.

 

The 30th Anniversary blade is seriously nice. Expensive too but nice all the same!

Here’s a couple of my Hondas - 2019 SP which has now moved on, and my 2007 Blade whose MOT trip this week ended up with me joining this forum and buying a Duc 996 today!

 

Congrats on adding a 996 to the fleet. The blade is a lovely bike, going back to back v the 1199s over an awesome rd 3miles from my house really shows the pros and cons (if there are any really) of each bike.

My blade that’s making way soon once I’ve stripped the goodies off to make way for my first Ducati

 

This was my old 2008 Fireblade doing a 1/4 mile run at Thorney Island ( Baker barracks ) a few years ago. Not my quickest run of the day but not too bad for an old girl.

Allo fella, yeah the blades going mate,I’ve got a trip booked in July so thought it best to do it on the bike I have and know then I’ll strip all the tasty bits off and sell it.

hopefully a 1199r or 1299s mate?
