Hi All, 999r Fila Replica #174 of #201 Its done 1500 miles with FSH from Ducati (I think it has 5 service stamps + the PDI) It has ALL the standard parts + the race parts Plaque (signed by Neil Hodgson / James Toseland) Cover Paddock Stand Private related plate Its in stunning condition as you would expect Lots of Paperwork including Desmo Owners Booklet 3 sets of Keys I have owned the bike since 2016, i am the 2nd owner on logbook. I am looking for a price near to £25K Will need proof of ID before viewing and test ride after funds released.
But they did have the carbon tail (later didn't), many changes over the 2 years considering they only made 200.
Sorry mate the stands are to get it off the floor the original is up in the loft - to be honest i cannot understand why no one is interested - its probably the best Fila Replica out there - not dissing any others but like my other bikes she is in mint condition many people say their bikes are mint but that is just tosh to be honest - i am a bit a anal about my bikes - maybe she has to be shipped to The Bike Specialist where someone will buy her for a premium - think about it lads buy an investment - if she is going back into the dining room she will be a joy to view everyday - crack on lads
These bikes are quite "niche". They were quite niche back in the day but even more so and there very well could be a buyer out there who just hasn't seen your advertising yet. I mentioned that rear stand as I too have a 2003 999R with that swingarm and the two-point stand which comes with it is nerve wracking... I see your stand and am trying to work out if it's real or a photoshop! It must be a single sided arm stand with the pin machined down...
I used a 996 rear single sided stand with all 3 of my 999's even more so on the track, never had an issue, no machining necessary .. I still have one of the grey swingarm rear stands in the cellar... hardly used it at all
