  6. 621 miles until you need a service, it'll flash up on the dash and the amber line on the revs will vanish too ;-)

  7. Yeah this is stage 1. Apparently a service at 625 miles at no more than 6k revs. Then another 900 miles at at 7k revs... Not sure I like this running in lark, but it's a good way of getting used to the bike. It's been a long time. :)

  8. 700 miles done, better get that service and get rid of the "Oil Service" icon that's popped up. :) The orange section of the rev counter has moved to 10k. :)

  9. I confess, I want one just for the dash!

  10. I don't know if it's still the same, but when I had a couple of Monsters (new generation), the first service was said to be at 600 miles, but spanner wouldn't come on until past 621, as the first service is due after 1000 km, and 600 miles is a rough conversion.

The dealer couldn't reset the service indicator until it had come on, so an extra 20 miles required.

  11. My mates rear section fell of on the M3 too. Less than 500 miles. The Pani rear section lasted that distance before it fell off! £150 later.

  12. My After market carbon tail fell off my SF , the new one is discretely tied on with a flexible cable ties

It's come off again since but at least I know about it and can stop and re fix -

  13. I took my new Streetfighter S for it's 600 mile service last year. The guy behind the service desk said "Now you don't have to stick to the rev limit"...............Me "What rev limit?"
