  2. Clutch seal kits tend to be more widely available in the UK through a dealer. Email [email protected] uk and see if they have stock. Andy

  3. Nothing available from Ducati. I know sometimes it's possible to get kits from KTM, but that's an old master cylinder now. The one linked to above might do the trick, but double check parts numbers etc.

  4. I’ve heard the 998 ones can’t be serviced but I don’t know how true that is

  5. Oops my bad, I was merely steering you to a supplier of said rebuild kits not a specific model of kit.

  6. @VtwinDave It is definitely possible to service the clutch master cylinder, the hardest thing is getting a seal kit for it, best thing to do is take your existing one apart and then you know what type, diameter etc you are looking for..
I had a problem with my 899 clutch master cylinder and the “stealers” wanted £240 quid for a new complete unit :scream: I managed to find a KTM Brembo seal kit that was identical for just over £20 quid,
Full how to in this link below, post number 57

Good luck tracking down a seal kit, once you’ve got that your half way there :upyeah:

  7. No worries thanks for your reply :upyeah:

  8. Great thanks , yes I might just do that take it apart and see what I need or can do with it . A brand new one is around €200 so it’s worth a try fixing the old one thanks

  9. Dave, the clutch master is a PSC13 (according to the factory issued repair manual) and they are available imported for around £120 if you dig around. However there are a couple of seal kits available from Brembo for 13mm masters (one linked above) but none state they will work with the PSC13. If you do the strip down and a bit of digging let us know how it turns out. The only thing to add is that cylinder is much more reliable than the 749/999 ones which groove the piston seals in a heartbeat but repair kits are easily available. There is a big market for 748/916 kits if you can bottom out the Brembo kit part number

  10. Sound , at least now I know it’s a 13mm . I’ll look into that and I might try strip it and see if it can be done or if it’s sealed

  11. wemoto do a kit, i think its this one (but dont take my word for it!)

you need to dismantle and measure the plunger size as there are a couple of different types

if you carefully pry the boot off the plunger and spring will just pop out , there is no retaining circlip used on the OEM slaves iirc

if yours is from a 748/996/998 Its likely a PSC 12 Brembo Part # 10.6940.22

FYI The rubber boot is available separately from aprillia #AP8133522

  16. 1994 - 1999 clutch master cylinders (gold levers) are 13 mm, model years 2000+ are 12 mm (silver levers).
