(small) Bike Things You've Done Today

Well get some bloody pics up man.

 

I had actually taken some photos earlier, but then I realised the wifes washing was in the background hanging in the garage I'll take some pics tomorrow.

 

All my gear arrived today, really like my helmet and coms, Missed going to the barber today due to decorating, so dug the clippers out to help with helmet fitment……..now I’m looking abit odd.
Anyway.

I would be interested to hear what it is like when you've worn it for some time. Specifically ventilation.

 

Finished cleaning the 765rs and put it up for sale on various forums.
Got the little 600ss out and started her up for the first time in just over a month, very reluctant but she got there eventually so took her for a spin around the block and got her nicely warmed up. Uncovered the superlight and looked at her for a bit. Need to get her sorted and running properly, then put some decent miles on it this year.

 

@Gandalf rode just over 100 miles today, mainly motorway, very windy day with no wind protection(Diavel). Helmet is very stable, good aeros and no lift, front ventilation on the mouth area let’s a lot of air in, top vents added some good flow. With ear plugs in I still had wind noise(not terrible but noticeable) but once again very windy on the motorway, only thing I can say bad about it is it’s tight, good fit when on but hard to get off(which I guess is a good thing!). Visor is great, used the tinted one today and had no issues with fogging(no pinlock) and not overly dark from the inside. Will drop you a pm when I’ve put some more miles on it.

Got my std seat re covered with extra foam added today. 1 week turn around service and decent quality by Tony Archer.

 

Put the track bike back together ready for a test run. Hopefully flashing the Blipbox has solved the horrendous gear change issues. Fitted the RCS 17 and span adjuster bought from @990Glen. Also treated me self to and fitted some pointless but very flashy switches!

Highly recommend Palmer Performance if your after bespoke brackets for mounting ‘stuff’ on bikes.

Now the Diavel has gone to a new home, had a bit of a tidy in the garage and then wrangled the R6 out of its home in the hallway and into its new (but possibly temporary) home in the garage. Andy

 

What a jukebox and chesterfield, plus a smoking pipe machine over a Ducati, or you mad or what.

 

That has gone right over my head mate, way too weird for the likes of my poor brain Andy

 

The only pipe in question is the one you’re on!

 

Cleansed my bike of Salt after a few hours of riding.
