posted a link to this also last week (Daily Mail?) :- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/c...nels-Britain-10-revealed-Penmaenbach-top.html
I went through the tunnel at Beaminster in the company VW van today, it just sounded like an underpowered old oil burner, so all in all not that impressed
I use the Welsh one frequently, but in a car or van, so not much of a treat really Tunnels in the Pyrenees with an open termi is quite a different experience altogether.
I did the ukmoc "Tunnel Run" 3 times, going through every Thames tunnel in London, once on a Monster and twice on an Elefant. It was a bit special and unlikely to happen again now. One commenced around 3 am after a Pizza at Marble Arch. There is at least one YouTube vid but couldn't find it the other day. you might wonder why we are going so slowly, it was because hardly any rider knew where every Gatso was, if you look carefully at around the 4 minute mark you can see them going off constantly on reflection. Miraculously no-one got a single NIP. don't watch expecting glorious Ducati engine soundtracks, it's more an exercise in hearing above dry clutch rattle..
