Yes 100%, but some folk just don't get this range of motorcycles from ducati, all they want's the lastest and baddest bhp monsters.

Many things don't ring true about his advert, but the bit that sticks out like a sore thumb for me is "The engine was completely rebuilt by legendary Ducati engineer Steve Wynne (google him!)"

As many know Steve Wynne was behind the preparing the legendary racingDucati 900SS, with which Hailwood won the 78 IOM TT. (which spawned the 900 Hailwood replica). He also undertook other work from his shop in Manchester including building Spondon Ducati's (of which I own one).

He retired to New Zealand about 20 years ago. Sports Motorcycles still exists, but run by Glyn Robinson. So unless the engine was shipped to the other side of the world and back, it is unlikely that he would have rebuilt an engine from a bike that started production in 2006.

So a “racer” sees a £125,000 V4 Superlegerra sitting in the window of Woods Ducati in north Wales, has all the race kit fitted before delivery and then changes their mind, doesn’t ride it and puts it up for auction.
