Joe Talbot plaintively recounts the story of a near-fatal motorcycle crash he was involved in, as he reflects upon his own mortality after years of addiction. The MTT 420RR is the model of the motorcycle that overtook Talbot on the road, as he shares in a November 2021 press release: This motorcyclist came up on the right of me on the highway, doing 120, 130 miles an hour. He was like half a foot away from instant death. ‘MTT 420 RR’ is the start of the story — the metaphor of the crash, and how lucky I am to still be around after years of addiction.
