Went to Ducati Manchester, then to my brother in law’s house for lunch. Just got home but I’ll be going out for dinner this evening with the DOCGB West Yorkshire branch
Collected my “moment of weakness” purchase today. I have owned my current car since new and tried very hard through the years to look after it, especially the diamond cut, 18” alloy wheels. I am ashamed to admit, the discipline eventually went out of the window and the wheels are now a visual mess as well as all being out of true from the appalling condition of the roads I travel. Whilst sorting out the replacement of a leaking rear shock, I negotiated a 20% discount on a new set of 4 alloy wheels Now got to wait until Tuesday to drop them off with the local detailer for 2 coats of ceramic polish. I've just been asked by my daughter-in-law if I'd do an hours talk on skiing and snowboarding to her primary school class next week, as they have been learning about the Winter Olympics
Tested positive for Covid, along with my daughter and we both blame my wife who was positive last week and negative today. My daughter has her 18th birthday next week, hopefully she will be negative for that
Ordered up two replacement tyres for the van for next week plus i've cleaned out the threads on the wheels ready for bolting the discs back on over the next few days.
