  1. Today SWMBO is manning the cake stall at the village "Valentine's Day breakfast" extravaganza whilst I'm waiting at home for a delivery to be made.

    This evening we are off to see Milton Jones at the Lowry in Manchester :)

    For the amount of time you spend in my neck of the woods you may as well move over!

There is some truth in that, however being where we are means we are not only 25 miles from Manchester but also only 25 miles from Leeds and 25 miles from Sheffield..........so we are perfectly situated for the countryside/Peak District which is on our doorstep and to visit all 3 cities should we need to. :)

  4. Took the car for its annual wash. Saw a van with a sticker on it that said “think cyclist think twat” and been looking where to buy one online since!
    No joy as yet.

  6. A breakfast run out to the Honeystreet Mill cafe near Pewsey this morning. A bit chilly but the roads were dry with relatively little traffic off the beaten track. Had 2 no shows but their loss, the bargee breakfast is just so yummy :yum Andy

    Pre Valentine’s Day gig.

  10. 4 hour ride out to Lake Vyrnwy, started dryish then proceeded to Chuck it down for 3.5 hrs. Bike started clean.

  14. The threshold is West facing so takes the worst of the weather. It’s had running repairs for a couple of years now, it really needs replacing along with the door frame. The filler that was there gave out when my lad stood on it about 2 weeks ago. It’s on my list of tasks for better weather……it’s a long list.:confused:

  19. First ride on the new to me supersport. 163 miles.
    Yes the mirrors are dangerous over 60mph.
    Yes it gets warm, god knows what it's going to be like in the summer.
    BUT....
    Bloody loved every minute of it.

  20. Looks lovely, and great fun, it sounds. Can you be sure then the Norton Commando there in the picture was in your mirrors not in front of you :D?
