Total lack of discipline, sat in the local Indian waiting on a Dansak for my tea and drinking Cobra Andy
If it was in front of him, it wouldn’t be long before it was behind him, as at some point they’d have to go back to pick up the parts that had fallen off
Nothing fell off it, but it did leave a few scent marks. Dad is riding it to the Czech Republic this year.
I have to agree, this is a great place to stop. It used to be one of my fav'es for coffee & cake, when I lived in the Devizes area.
I’m regularly over that way on the bike, so will bookmark that. Now, I have to ask as this is important, does the breakfast include black pudding?
After many days of no bike therapy whatsoever, far too many, today was a full on day. Up early, cooked breakfast for myself and the present Mrs. Then Uncle Barry arrived with my Multistrada in his van, back from its service. Or as I like to call it, the wife’s Multistrada because I bought it specifically to take her on the back. New Serie Oro rear disc + upgraded pads and new belts fitted. The 5 year old originals didn’t look bad at all, interesting to see. Good old Bazza, top man. Then off to the upholsterer to pick up the pillion seat which I’d had a gel pad fitted, for the Mrs you see. Next on to Ducati Cambridge with bro 6 aka Mike the bike for….test rides! Up until now I have not ridden a Ducati V4 at all. The folks at Duc Cambridge were very good and we test rode a Multistrada V4s and a V4 Streetfighter. Both very nice bikes, in different ways. Mmmmmmm, there may be trouble ahead!
I’m sorry to say but I was disappointed with Milton Jones. Parts of the act were downright awful and boring. His support act, Tom Houghton was poor too. I like him on things like “Mock the Week”, perhaps because his quips are sporadic and in the thick of other comedians that are on, anyway this was poor. I’ll not be in any rush to see him again
Highly recommend. Next time you’re over this way give it a go. Even though it’s owned by a manager of a premiership football club you never see any of the players and their entourage, they tend to go to ‘classier’ places.
Was planning to go to Perry Hill meet today at Hartfield but heavy weathery stuff unfolding soon apparently.
Already unfolding here I think it’s the sort of day for a visit to Costco. I have a request for 2 slabs of pork belly destined for curing into bacon Andy
PCR test just now for Caribbean holiday with my two daughters - flying Weds. Fingers crossed we can all get through the Covid challenges to departure...
As I was wandering around Costco earlier, I spied a ‘soft close’ toilet seat and thought I’d give both my toilets at home a face lift (no pun or double entendre intended). Just spent a messy hour removing and discarding two rather distasteful toilet seats, thoroughly cleaning two toilet bowls and fitting two new toilet seats to the now sparklingly clean toilets. Memo to self, stand a lot closer or sit down more often, your aim ain’t what it used to be you old git Andy
A good job too, it's truly disgusting stuff. I recall when I was a student in Bristol, back in the early 80's, our landlady Mrs. Scum, who frequently cooked breakfast with a fag hanging out of the corner of her mouth, attempting to force-feed that foul mess to us. Each to their own though, I suppose
Went to the bike show at excel with my dad and met some friends there this morning. Was home early afternoon so decided to fit the tail tidy to the new SS. Faf of a job but looks loads better.
