  1. Got a noise problem ?? Can't get through your MOT with those lovely Carbon BOS cans? Then you need a set of stock cans...

Or.. thrown your SS down the road?? Road rash issues with your cans ?? While they look hard core do you still long for the clean smooth undented lines of the pre road worn set???

Taken of a '94 900 - no major issues with the cans, No major scuffs, few rub marks and a bit of discoloration on the wheel side but nothing major.

(rest of bike not included in sale - just the cans....)

£150 + postage (or make me a sensible offer )

    Cheers

    Johnny

  6. Will these fit and work on a 750ss??

  7. Apparently not without modifying the headers on the 750.
In discussion with a few people it seems that the exit on the pipes after the crucifix are about 2" narrower than the 900. But it should be a relatively easy job to get the straight section on the header cut / sleeved and re-welded.
I guess there are very few pipe options for a 750 these days ??

  8. What size are the pipes and I will check mine as my current pipes look like they have been adjusted to fit

  9. I can't guarantee it but I've been told that this "width" is different on the 750's and the 900s
This ruler is sat on the left hand joint to the can under the swingarm and then lies on top of the right hand joint. near enough 385 mm

  10. I will check mine out as soon as I get home and let you know, thanks

  11. I'm puzzled why it would be different, so am interested to see what the outcome is.

I thought the 750 and 900 Headers were the same, but the 600's were different. and actually only in respect of the Cylinder end.

  12. This photos was from some one trying to offer up a set of 900 headers to a 750 - the text are his words not mine.
I can see why the headers would be different from a 750 as it's a shorter stroke motor - but post crucifix they could have made it the same - probably didn't occur to them.
If they will fit on Chace's will depend on what was modified.

  13. A little pay day nudge - you might not need these now but in a few months you'll be thinking "Just a £100?? - I should have bought them as a spare set..."

  14. I don’t think they will work but if you can settle at £80 posted to clear that space I will give them a go

  15. Sorry - that would work out at just £65 in my pocket after postage which isn't enough. I'll just leave the ad here - someone sometime will need them.
    Thanks

  16.
  17. Fair enough, let’s give them ago then at £100 posted and I will pray I can make them fit. What’s your payment details

  18. Let me know when it’s done and I’ll close the thread

  19. The price is £100 + postage and at that price they are still cheap - if you want to arrange your own courier or come and collect them I'll do them for £100

  20. I'd be keeping them if all you can get is £100.

People will fighting over them in less than 10 years when everyone is taking their bikes back to standard.
