Today I have mostly been climbing. Tomorrow I’m giving some primary school kids a talk about snowboarding at the request of my daughter in law who’s class it is. She’s been teaching them about the Winter Olympics.
Had a leak coming through the kitchen ceiling. Called a plumber, and there was a pinhole sized hole in the pipe behind the sink in the bathroom. The prick from Wickes that fitted the bathroom decided that glueing the shelves in would be a good idea. Twat. So that all had to come out. £300 later, it’s all sorted. Added to the £475 bill to fix our three year old boiler (don’t get me started), it’s been an expensive few days.
I don’t normally drink midweek, but am sorely tempted to crack open a bottle of Suntory given to me for my birthday!
Fingers crossed for you Carr01, but more often than not it turns out to be not something nasty. But worth getting checked out eh!
A couple of period correct mirrors donated for the XL, don't worry i'll clean the toothbrush before i return it later for her.
Well the “bots” have been out in force for the first time in weeks overnight. For the past 3-4 weeks we’ve been getting maybe 7-10 “bots” applying to join us a day……but overnight we’ve had 28 try to join! And I’m certain it won’t stop there today! Must be that storm Dudley that’s blown them in
We've caught the Caledonian sleeper train from London to Edinburgh for my daughters 18th birthday. Just checked into the hotel to dump the bags before we go off exploring.
Smart looking digs, hope you have a great birthday celebration Is your daughter at the university there?
