Hi , Looking for a set of 998S ohlins forks (FG8851) same as 996R ( 998S,Bayliss,Bostrom, FE models etc) . Would consider 748R/998R forks (FG8500) or any parts for either, particularly the feet . Wanted for a 2004 998FE. Thanks for looking.
Hmmm, theres only difference between the R models and the final edition / S specials. R models are 15mm offset brake discs the rest is 10. So 998s bayliss/ Bostrom are the same as FE. The 748R 996R 998R are all the same 15mm. Std 998s has showa.
Thanks for the input . Yes , I am really looking for them for the 998FE etc (FG8551) for the 10mm offset discs because the feet are different. The 996R ones, I am reliably informed,are actually the same as the 998S Bayliss,Bostrom,FE etc . The 998R/748R ones would be fine, I'd just need to find some 15mm offset discs.(or do the spacer mod) I would probably consider some FG43 R&T forks too . Thanks again.
