Can’t wait for the next instalment of ‘Treewatch’ Chris, there’s a lot of trees in our local AONB down in places.
I was too late for this one N, It possibly blocked the road though. Did a genuine 10 miles on a non-powered and already felt weird, a lot more fulfilling and much better heart work-out for me anyway.
Largest so far, I made it to Kingston so about 30 miles on non-powered bike, it’s hard to explain why, just get far more enjoyment out of it it seems despite health stuff.
on to Richmond. At least three trees blocking the pathway, but above was by far the biggest and most artistic. Hard to say cause, but pretty dried-out and possibly another Ivy victim.
Well, I managed to slip 20 odd miles on this morning, shoulda took some pics, I'll try and remember if i get out Friday, could be a snowy one on Friday.... We'll see
Sun shine for once today, got a decent loop round dodging the slop. It's a water world on the trails but spent most of it on the canal...
Me too, did 10(5) on the cheatmobile and figured you'd all be bored with more fallen trees.. (about 6 across canal)
No chance of getting out on the pushy in Oz, we’ve had absolutely biblical rain for about 4 days now, it has literally been thundering down monsoon style for days, lots of local flooding,…keep yer posted
The rain in Brisbane has not let up for about the last 4 or 5 days, massive flooding everywhere now.. in this pic you can just make out the handrails of the bridge over Kedron brook, lhs off centre of pic, it’s a little stream about 10 feet wide and it’s normally about 12-15 feet below the bridge, that’s how much water has come down over the last few days … This picture was taken yesterday, can’t even see the handrails today! I’m spending far too much time in coffee shops like this one.. Coffee and cakes are so tempting,…..must resist !
