  1. I ordered day after launch, number 17 out of an initial allocation of 18 bikes.

    I’m told April delivery.

  3. Doesn’t look like there’s any real pattern

  4. No , but my help a bit , but the issues with the shock , production parts may get better now so maybe promised delivery dates will be more accurate.

  5. Yeah that won’t have helped.

  8. Called into my dealer this morning and delivery is scheduled for July. Ordered at the beginning of November so there’s your 8 months. Hey Ho.

I work abroad for 6 months of the year (6 weeks away, 6 weeks home) so the lengthy wait isn’t as bad as for others. Gives me time to buy all the usual bolt-ons as well……..

PS. The dealership’s first PP is due in next week and it was ‘ordered’ in July. I missed the early boat by waiting for the official release.

  11. Millsport in Ballymoney, N Ireland. I suppose I could have gone to another dealer (Scotland, England etc) but Billy and the team have always been 110% and, as a result, always get my business whether it’s purchasing, servicing or repair. Cracking bunch.

  12. I have ordered mine in the end of December (Sweden). Estimated delivery was 7-11 Feb which was pretty much exact. I have also ordered the touring pack and full Akra. The Touring pack was the last thing to arrive (a week ago). The bike is finally prepared and will pick it up tomorrow. The weather sucks so chances are it will still take a while to properly ride it. But all in all and considering the average delivery times for the bike and exhaust system elsewhere...I must say I was very lucky.

  13. Now that is a delivery time to be envious of. I think sales versus allocation comes into play depending on where you are?

Good luck for tomorrow and health to enjoy.

  14. I think dealers usually get an allocation of bikes and where you are on their line of allocation plays quite a large part of when you get your bike.
It would be foolish of Ducati to give all the first bikes to those dealers who put in for a big allocation early on, however unfair that may seem to those who paid a deposit early.

  15. You really were lucky.

  16. Makes sense. I had a conversation with Leeds when I bought my 1260. They reckoned Ducati told them what they were getting and it was pretty much non-negotiable. He also said there was a North/South divide between Multis and Diavels, so dealers would swap allocations accordingly.

    I just want my bike!

  17. What do you mean by a north south divide? That there's less of a lead time for Northern dealers?

I've been told by a few dealers that no matter where you go in the UK, you're now looking at a build week in Oct or later with delivery in Dec or Jan 2023 O_O

  18. I meant more Diavels down south and more Mulits oop North!

  19. Ah interesting!

  20. Indeed, Southerners - cruisers, prone to wear leather chaps.
Northerners, bikes capable of big distances, hardy souls. Trustworthy and generous to a fault.....
