Just finished season 1 of 'Goliath' on prime, B B Thornton at his best, looking forward to the other 3 seasons
That is the trouble isn’t it, a bit like music, so hard to find something original to appeal to the Punter, just because it’s all been done before.
Supernatural. Started watching it on late night ITV as a USA import back in 2007 and got hooked, then couldn't find it for a while. Recently found the box set on Prime and now catching up from season 8 Easily as good as Buffy or Angel when you get into it. Tim Minchin. So Fing Rock. Genius.
I have been watching the BBC docudrama "Rise of the Nazis". It's well done, no superfluous pish, good knowledgeable talking head experts and well produced fly on the wall reenactments. A lot of it is quite apposite bearing in mind our current difficulties in the East. There are striking similarities with Mr Putin and Herr Hitler's M.O. . Both being a couple of thuggish demagogues, liars and over reaching chancers. Four psychopathic dictators out of five.
A mate at work was saying this last week. He’s a ww2 geek and knows a lot of the build up to power etc and thinks they align too closely
just finished S2 0f 'Goliath' on prime, after S1,which was really good, its a big let down for me with its preposterous storyline and lacklustre acting from Billy Bob, just hope S3/4 are better.
Killing Eve.. hoping final Series will be more like the first, although amount of viewers bound to be depleted due to current associations with current and horrific reality of related geography.
Just finished watching Against the Odds about Kyle Sinckler. Why can't the programme makers create stuff like this more often.
Started on Peaky Blinders Seems it’s a return to the over stylised Hollywood routine the production team have opted for. Watchable
