For sale at £1300 + £25 postage... PM me if interested! Ducati P/N 96481791 Thought I would post this on here to see if any interest before going on eBay... I bought this from another forum member in December last year for £1300 who only had it on his bike for about 600 miles before removing it and selling his bike. Since fitting in January I've done about a further 400 miles with this exhaust so really is like new. I'm looking for the same amount £1300 plus £25.00 for shipping to the UK via Parcelforce, or can be collected from Harrogate, or I can meet halfway within a reasonable distance. These exhausts cost between £2100 and £2475 RRP so if you want to make your bike sound amazing then this is a great opportunity to do so with a massive saving. I fitted it myself (about 3 hours work) and had my local Ducati dealer apply the factory upmap using the mapping code that I still have and will ship with the exhaust. The cost for doing this was circa £50, however, will be more if you have your Ducati dealer remove your existing and install this full exhaust system - I was quoted £280 for fitting and mapping. The exhaust sounds AMAZING and also adds between 5 and 9 horsepower reducing weight from the standard cat unit by about 5kg. It really is a great upgrade, however, I have some concerns about the noise as am planning on doing quite a bit of touring with my partner as pillion (she would rather it not be quite so loud ), plus I'm also thinking about getting a project bike to work on and could do with the cash for that. The exhaust comes with all fasteners, springs etc, and is in clean, excellent condition, aside from one (very) minor scratch on the black heat shield (see picture).
On the older systems - I was told - the up map and standard map had to be swapped on the USB key.... - so when you uninstall it - they needed to uninstall the up map and reload your standard. Or the USB contained your old map not up map. Not sure if its like that now or not - but maybe worth checking..
Thanks... not 100% correct though as there is no USB key with this exhaust for the V4 Multi - instead, there is a mapping code number that stays with the exhaust (which I have). Only a Ducati dealer can install the new mapping code on their DDS system (which I had done when full system was installed) or de-install the full mapping code putting back to OEM map (for Akra slip-on or OEM slip-on)... I've re-installed the Akra slip-on and am having the full system map taken off on Saturday by my dealer when it goes back in for the heatshield recall.
