Moto Rapido Spares

  1. My local Aprilia/ktm dealer have it right. Let you wander round for a bit, then approach you and ask if they can help at the moment, if not then they say come over to the desk when you have any questions. Worked for me.

  2. Yes, exactly. A saleperson shouldn't jump down your throat the moment you walk in and you don't want to be trailed around the shop. But once you're looking closely at something they should see if they can help.

It's not been just a single thing for me, I've tried a few times and failed to find a rapport with anyone at Rapido. Still I recognise there are plenty on here who have had a good experience.

  3. I've always found Craig at Moto Rapido incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Will always put stuff in the post that day if you need it urgently :upyeah:

  4. The commonality with the comments regarding moto rapido is that spares/workshop are good but the sales team are somewhat disinterested, even withstanding the not jumping on you approach, it’s taken a little far. When I went in for warranty work, the sales desk was upstairs and he just went ‘can we help you’ without barley a look away from the screen, was a bit awkward. Anyway… time will tell if they succeed with parts etc, I hope they do.

and if anyone wants to see a really truly embarassingly bad dealer, just go to Ducati Abingdon.

  5. I actually found one of the sales guys to be quite a decent bloke. Was good to have an chat about bikes with absolutely no chance of a sale for him.

  6. :grinning:
Yeah I went there for a leaking seal, they couldn't get my forks apart and told me the last dealer put the cap on too tight. Waste of a few hours.
