  5. Put a deposit down on a Triumph tiger 1200 XCA, thought about a Mutley but most of the used bikes are due or not far off the Desmo service ££££££££££.
Also Healtech do a service light reset tool for £70, So I can service myself and get rid of the warning light.
2016 with 8.5K miles on it will post some photo's when I collect it.

  6. Really, you do surprise me. Run me through the ins and outs of the Monster v the Streetfighter V4S.

  7. In Provence. Sun shining, 2deg the morning, 14deg in the day.Only bike on the road from Bethune to Montelimar! Totally clear run door to door 645 miles in 10 hrs. GSA great tourer but a heavy tank with a full tank 30 litres. 260 miles until light comes on. The old Ducati far more fun on the Gap route. Highest price paid for unleaded E10 2.07 euro. 1.98 in Nyons. House still standing. Coffee time.!

  9. My Man has his instructions. The usual list of do and don’t. Training is everything. Took a while but regular thrashings seem to have worked:)

  10. Noticed several times over the last few weeks, a blue BMW parked outside my house for anything between 15 and 30 minutes with the occupant just sat there. Did a bit of curtain twitching this lunch time and saw the driver was tapping away on a tablet. Bet myself the bugger was using my internet band width so I turned my router off. Caught bang to rights, the tablet got thrown onto the passenger seat and the car roared off up the road :joy: I suppose one of the down sides of having broadband with BT. Andy

  11. It should require a password for him to access your router?

  12. well discovered Watson, how do they get your password? do you think he guessed it or maybe had an "app"?

  13. No, the thing with BT is that they also enable other BT customers to use part of your bandwidth either with their own login or as a 'public' service. Andy could do the same elsewhere...

  17. Along a similar theme, you can get the number plate and do an mot check to see if make/colour all match, i live in a dead end road and when you get the van/car slowly going along the road i sometimes get the number and check, you will be surprised what shows up, so you never know what they are up to.
Whilst you are sharing passwords i need a few spares for the bike ;)

  18. It’s Tuesday…..climbing day :)

  19. Wanted to work on the R6 track bodywork but it's just too bloody cold in the garage so resorted to putting the heating on (I know, profligate of me) and sat in my front room cleaning and polishing her's and my Daytonas. Also booked a slot at the recycling centre for tomorrow, it's amazing how much crap you accumulate when you can't be arsed to keep on top of it :joy: Andy

  20. Great Day for me, ( not so good for many others though ), I collected my S2R Thou from Ducati John, and the bike feels great. You may remember that, for almost 18 months, the thing would not idle when hot. I replaced a HT coil, reg/rec, battery, CPS, alt stator but all to no avail. Final efforts included iridium plugs and a Booster Plug, and one of these seemed to work, it ran round the lanes fine and got booked in with DJ. She now has new belts, one altered valve clearance and a TPS reset, she went from 3.0 to 3.2 as it should be. Riding home it felt like there was 20 more HP than I remember, fantastic.

So if anyone would like to borrow/buy any of the above items to help them with a problem then give me a shout.
