Bought this today mainly as a handy aid for the VFR restore. Should bring the pipes, fairing brackets, fork lowers etc back to good condition in no time once I get the polishing wheels sorted. https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-tt...cWu2UuOm1vmy0Op026BoC62AQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Its probably not amazing quality, but for £45 and 400watt it was too good to pass up.
Titan tools, whilst cheap, do seem to work. I have hot air gun, SDS hammer drill, concrete breaker, vacuum cleaner for the garage, hot glue gun all used regularly and no problems
Once into France it’s about 800 miles and 13 hours riding, so it can be done. Will look at some routes
For the past two weeks i've been away on site fitting a bathroom on the coast, so now i have some downtime i can start playing with bits on the bikes again until the next one.
Still too much salt on the roads around here. They dumped a load of it on Monday night as we were expecting frost overnight
I don't have much time as i'm resetting for this coming monday for the second installment, as i need the Fuel money.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see curb-side sea weed randomly growing with the amount of rain and salt.
Warranty work sorted. Got home and parked it on a different parts of the drive at which point I noticed that it had dropped some oil where I normally park the car, since it was serviced last week . Another phone call to the garage and I'm back in again for them to check the new oil filter they fitted as they've recently had a batch of faulty ones apparently This afternoons job will be to scrub and jet wash the drive
Exciting day, had a trip to the local refuse dump. Now in my local enjoying parsnip soup, a cheese and onion sandwich and a pint of Badger's best bitter. Got a new clutch m/c to fit later but just might have a snooze in my chair Andy
I used to do contract work at the badger brewery In Blandford forum many years ago, Great little town
