Anyone tried one of these WRS shorter screens? Standard screen is noisy, I did try a taller one, hated it.
Looks similar to the MRA Sport Screen. I prefer a shorter screen - to me much less buffeting and less wind noise. @mary hinge horse burger
Workshop have just fitted one to my track Multistrada, oviously not used it but I have high hopes for it. Andy
Mine came with a Puig one fitted and no complaints so far but haven't tried the standard screen to be fair. But I much prefer the look of a smaller dark screen than a larger clear one.
Is there an option out there for a PP style screen made of a different material? I like the shape of the PP and the air vent seems to make sense for managing air flow, but I'd prefer a 'light smoke' material to the PP CF... The closest I can see is the PUIG sport, but it has no cut out / vent. Am I missing an option?! Thanks.
I've not seen an alternative, but unless you're extremely short, the CF screen isn't going to get in your line of sight.
for my 1st 2010 multi i had a old standard screen, I borrowed a PP screen and placed it over the clear screen and used it as a template, cut it out and voila
It does look quite small for the size of the bike. Personally think the previous owner made a good choice with the Puig one fitted to mine. Smoked but you can see through it if you need or want to.
