I’ve got a friend that’s a fabricator near Scunthorpe, and am going to talk to him about making an engine guard/ plate for the front of the V4, to protect the engine/ headers from stone chips. Evotech seem to be taking months to sort theirs, so I want to get the bike protected as soon as it arrives. He’ll need a bike to look at, so that he can make up some templates. Would anyone on here be interested in such a product? And is there anyone near Scunthorpe that would be happy to take their bike for him to have a look at, as I haven’t got mine yet?
Spoke to him last night, and unless there are potentially hundreds of orders, he’s said the time involved to design and make something wouldn’t be worth it. We’ll just have to wait for Evotech to get their finger out, I guess. Can a mod nuke this thread please?
