Really? I've bought the three different wheels and the bars of compound so I have to give it a go. I don't remember the buffer being super messy when I was a kid in metalwork class. But maybe I didn't care back then or my memory is - what was the question...?
I had a lovely surprise waiting for me today when some scumbag had cut the chainlink fencing and entered the property and pushed over a very large heavy statue, what's wrong with folk today. I didn't bother with the police as they're useless.
I can't go into the details but we've always had problems with intruders over the years, damage carried out to the property & cars, lead removed from the roof etc, etc. Jealousy or just idiots, just give me 5 minutes in their bedroom to pay back the complement....pretty please
Spent a couple of days in the garage over the last week, desperately trying to organise “stuff”. Put another set of (plastic) shelving up which has accommodated a fair bit of the stuff but I’m also short of drawer space for tools, tooling and (small) parts. Over a sandwich for lunch, I looked on the Halfords web site, humming and harring if I should buy the 6 drawer topper for my Advanced trolley and middle box. After my sandwich, I started to look at reorganising what was in the drawers when the decision was made for me. A standard set of Halfords 4 drawer box perched on top of the Advanced drawers, toppled over and I couldn’t catch it. Probably a drop from 5 foot, absolutely demolished the bottom drawer. Local Halfords had a 6 drawer topper in stock which is now installed in my garage. My discount card saved me 25% and the lady on the till gave me a £10 voucher, which is a result. Still don’t have enough drawers though Andy
Went out for the first ride on the v4 this year, after filling up at £1.81/litre :-( I did manage to avoid most of the showers but it was a little chilly and still some damp roads, so just a quick 50 miles to get my Ducati grin going again. At home now with a mug of tea and demolishing a tube of Pringles. What a nice day off, sure beats work
We’ve driven home from Helensburgh after a lovely weekend visiting #1 son and family The grandchildren are growing up so fast, but they’re an absolute joy to be with……. incredibly funny, very caring, very intelligent. Their parents are doing a pretty good job!
Took my dear old mum to Currys to buy her a new cordless vacuum cleaner. She liked it so much I convinced her to buy two, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Easy to swap over a charged battery and easier for her not to carry one upstairs.
Sorry to read your sad news. She sounds like she meant a great deal to you and made a difference in your life. Glad to see you are celebrating her life.
It seems there was a swap on who was buying the product here, it started with you buying a singular vacuum cleaner which then switched to your dear Mother buying two. Do you by any chance work for Curry’s on a commission basis?
