200 miles in now and pretty much agree with him. steering and turn in so quick took me by surprise to start with but once you are back in the groove (and after 4 month lay off over winter too) its epic to ride. love it. everything just a tad better than before - and had 1260PP and 1200PP versions. Even coming from SFV4S, the QS was seamless whereas the SF QS missed the odd change. but never had to spend £30+ filling a bike tank before
my dealer had mine in mid Jan and hasnt had any more yet - though expecting next ones soon. apparently mine still only one on road in the east of england?
I popped into my dealer yesterday and they had another one there. Apparently there are lots of built bikes at Ducati, waiting to ship.
Morning , no its was taken near Afon Tryweryn North Wales , we do ride near to you from Llandovery / Lampeter north wards most week ends usually around 3 to 400 mile routes.
Seems like the Akra full system was not properly remapped (It was not displaying the "EVO" in the riding modes) even though the dealer said it was...After confirmation with Ducati Italy the system was not effectively remapped so I will need to bring it back for proper job and also some major system updates... My concern now is the fact that I have been riding it with the "unmapped" set up. Does anyone knows if this might have caused any problems with the engine or anything else?
Unlikely. My guess would be that the bike ran a little rich for a while, more likely that than lean. Nonetheless, I’d want it documented for use in the event of any ‘unusual’ warranty claims.
