Went out on the Bayliss for the first time today. Weather was beautiful - too warm for my heavy textile jacket and winter gloves that’s for sure. Managed to scrub the tyres in with some spirited riding Here’s a few pics I took when I stopped for a few minutes on the way home
Performance and handling wise……………no different to my old (2yo) Panigale V2. It’s a whole lot prettier though
Going to be away for a while, so wheeled the 999 out for a quick local. Started first go thanks to the optimate. Funny thing is, seat and suspension seem to have got harder over the winter as the chain has got looser. Oh and the footrests seemed to have moved backwards as well.
Harpic is pretty good at rescuing fubared downpipes. But its not brilliant, first pic is after several hours of neat harpic applied every half hour, for an afternoon. Then I used my new toy the buffing machine with wire wheel, then sisal & two grades of polishing wheels. They really were in a state. They're almost done... PS. If you're thinking of buying a buffing/grinder machine, I'd get at least 300w and maybe 500w if the price is OK. The little ones wouldn't get near this.
