Personally I think it’s outrageous that people are intimidating others to do what they deem worthy. What happened to freedom of choice and freedom of speech. I don’t happen to have a 4 x 4 but if I did and someone came onto my property and attempted to tamper with it, if I caught them I’d deem it worthy to chop their fkn fingers off.
Alright, maybe that’s a bit extreme, maybe that should be reserved for thieves. Maybe just break their fingers instead. You see, I’m becoming so liberal in my old age.
Courtesy of @Rudolph Hart Saudi Arabia has decided to be more lenient on convicted thieves: 1st offence - Chop your right hand off. 2nd offence - Chop your left hand off. 3rd offence - You get a slap on the wrist.
They should try living out in the middle of nowhere before they decide a 4x4 is innapropriate. Cheeky bastards.
I was reading a story in the paper the other day where a disabled woman with a 4x4 had her tyres let down. The next morning she couldn’t get to a critical appointment. I hope that the people doing it find themselves in the same situation one day.
Not a fan of SUVs myself, and 4x4s only when they are used in anger, but letting down the tyres or otherwise damaging someone elses property is completely unacceptable.
Been out on the Bayliss for the very first time today for a couple of hours, really just to scrub the tyres in. Generally the roads were pretty good. Bit of salt/crap in some places, but it was good enough to have a nice play. Here are a few pics of the auspicious event Complete with obligatory squashed bug
Just had fish n chips delivered. They chucked a saveloy in as a freebie; do people deliberately order those?!
Rode the v4 streetfighter for the first time since October. Felt a bit weird but then I remembered the last time I rode it was at cadwell and I had dropped the tyre pressures. I was going to sell it but I think I'll keep it now. Unless someone wants to do a deal with a 1290 superduke r. Looking forward to getting the 996 that I've agreed to buy
Yeah I test rode the SFV4S, the 1290 and the Triumph 1200rs before I pulled the trigger. After that there was only one bike I wanted. I’m not rich so had to dig deep. But definitely worth it. The 1290 was a laugh and I was disappointed with the triumph. I asked myself which one do I lust. Therefore I got the SFV4S and love it. I wouldn’t personally open the garage just to look at the KTM. The SFV4S I make an excuse to go look at it !!
Thanks for that mate, I think I'll keep the v4sf, and get my vtwin kicks from the 996 I'm hopefully getting.
The roads were probably better then, my mate has cracked 3 alloys in the last two years, potholes everywhere.
