TBH, that could so easily have gone either way. I'm looking forward to the second one. Weeding has become a lot more fun now that I can listen to TMS all day.
Thats what makes it exciting. The Ashes are one of the few series where the form book goes out the window. Glad we won and I'm glad it was a contest
I dunno about that. Remember growing up late 80s and into the 90s, every Ashes series I'd be full of hope and expectation only for reality to kick back in.....usually halfway through the first test Definately a much better contest these days though!
It's costing my employer a fortune in roaming charges while I keep up to date with the cricket and the Tour so I've decided that the best way to hide these things is to send a few work related emails and say it was all business use
oh dear oh dear oh dear.................why dont they just go home tail between their legs.............perhaps they are good a cycling...........oh no a brit has won that too!
At least it's over inside 4 days so that's saved my company some cash. Hang on, there's a MGP to keep up with in a couple if hours...
I'm just hoping that they can actually stick together half a dozen decent batting performances in one innings and give us a game. It's not beyond the bounds of possibility. We only sneaked the first one. But this one was pretty dismal.
We I thought only England could collapse like a house of cards. I have to say, although we've won, this series has been lacking excitement of any level. Hopefully both sides will be a lot better in the next series
