  1. Yes

  2. If I had been told all that when I ordered I could have taken the choice of going elsewhere to buy one, but I was assured they would have them the same time as everybody else. I had been to a couple of dealers, plus a mate of mine who lives near, me put his order in with a another chain of dealers weeks after me yet his was ready in February. It’s more about the broken promises and the trust thing for me.

  3. I tried for days to speak to them about a V2 Multi... could not get through... actually thats wrong ... no one picked up the phone on the 30 or so times I called...

Eventually spoke to them after an email... asking them to answer the phone...

Then they would not do much of a deal - but like you for a few hundred pounds prefered to stay local...

Then when I am about to order - they say delivery would be May or June.... when many other dealers had stock..

So I switched to Riders... Had a better discount - immediate availability (had 3 in showroom)... just waiting the low seat.

  4. I fear for my estimated mid-April delivery.

  5. That’s exactly what my mate did as he’d had dealings with them before, he did warn me but I took in all their promises.

  6. I hope you get yours on time and it’s just the dealer I used that’s not been reliable.

  8. I hear you. Having spent a few hours on my 1260 today, I’ve now taken the approach of what’ll be will be. I’m very interested to see how they’ve improved on what, for me, is perfection in a bike.

  9. Will do , it looks simple to attach and the parts are well made and solid . Wont get much chance this week to fit as very busy at work.

  10. The manual says 5000rpm... its advisable to go up to 7000rpm?

Fitted mine today, easy enough, wrong bolts for indicators in kit, but Evotech sent some out yesterday so they must have known that, bit tight tucking the wires up out the way when you fit it to the bike, but once in looks pretty smart I think

  12. Looks good. The exhaust hanger will be available in a couple of weeks, so I’ll be ditching the pillion pegs straight away.

Would be quite handy if someone develops a pannier mount/ rear grab rail delete kit as well.

  13. I had a V4 SF 18 months ago and another dealer said the same, keep below 7k. Below 5k would be a bit restrictive IMO..

  14. Why would you want to do that? The bike loses all reason then.

  15. Pannier mount delete would make sense, as the majority of owners of PP's won't fit panniers. Maybe not much call for the grab rail delete, but it would tidy the back end for those that never take pillions and rarely use luggage.
