Hello everyone thank you for allowing me in and apologies if this post is not correct My dad was a 1960’s Ducati owner and my mom a pillion and a life long fan of the Italian Dream as he called it When he was 70 he even had a ride out with a group of 20 Ducatis from this forum ( he was pillion). He never lost his love of Ducati . Even his watch was Ducati! Sadly my dad passed last week aged 82 and without anyone knowing I am testing the water to see if anyone knows if I could get a couple of people to just be outside our house giving the bikes a rev when his hearse leaves on his final journey ( I want it to be a complete surprise and it’s the very last thing I can do for him ) It will be Thursday 14th April approx 12.30 We are in Smethwick just north of Birmingham , I know this is a big ask due to fuel prices at the moment but as I say I’m just seeing if feasible I’m also willing to donate towards fuel Thank you Brad
Dear Brad. Very sorry to hear of your dads passing. But very happy to hear he was an enthusiast with a zest for life. I am sure you will have loads of replies in no time. best michel
Really sorry to hear of the passing of your dad Brad ,a bit to far for me from Somerset but i hope you have a big posse turn up to see your dad off .
Unfortunately Brad, all things come to pass, sorry for your loss. nice idea, I’m sure someone a nearer than me will be happy to help out. In the meantime any more old Ducati artefacts would be interesting to see. Hope all goes well.
