Just asking as when I bought my 749 trackbike many years ago it also had the starter switch on the left. I couldn’t work out why it was there so I moved it back to the right bar and it’s been there ever since.
Just a guess, but as most tracks are right hander heavy, to minimise damage in an off? Or to allow more space to place front brake lever exactly where you want it.
@Hedge, interesting setup with the tail on your lovely bike: integrated exhaust shroud like an RS but OEM seat, and the lil' infill panels under the seat.
I recognise that chair and those legs, also known as the torture chair for signing up their victims...hence why it's in red material.
Exactly that. It's a custom unit made of two CF pieces, replicating the RS seat but accommodating the standard seat unit. It's been done exquisitely. Was subbed out by Pro Twins to some place, can't recall the name. When the zorst was fitted, it had a Power Commander too plus a custom map. It's been dyno'd by HM Racing, Orpington. It made 160.02 bhp, which is staggering for a 999. Oh & it's just arrived. Cheers, Hedge
