  1. I prefer SRAM over Shimano but Campagnolo out of the 3, in old money.

  2. Another dry day, another dry trail, brekkie crank this morning, great....

  3. Legs wanted to stay on the couch this morning but it's too sunny for that, so a short 13 miler in the woods and along the river...

  4. Fun loop last night - just my normal ride but had a couple of "targets" on the way out to inspire a bit more performance out of me than recent rides - I can't wait for summer when the weight is off and my power is back to normal :)

  5. A trip up to Newport to see how the other half lives :astonished:
Weather is back to its usual fab self  on the way up, I came around a bend on the bike track and was faced with this,…not something I’m used to really, ….a 6 ft plus python :scream: !

It was in no hurry to move, I think it was warming up from the heat on the concrete bike path, had fantastic markings on it,..so I scooted around it on the grass like the sissy I am …

Had to flag this guy down so he didn’t run over “ Monty” ,..it just gives you an idea of scale, the bike path is about 9 feet wide, so he must be a decent 6 footer or so ??

    Bit further up…

  9. Not exactly Australia but not half bad I'd say. Belting afternoon for a lumpy crank over the deserted moors, loved it, it's my go to Friday afternooner mtb loop is this one...

  14. Some cracking pictures chaps. I’m almost inspired to get back out on mine, as I’ve not ridden it since my big crash last year.

  15. Motorbike or pedal bike prang?

  16. Pedal, so even more painful, as I wasn’t wearing any armor.

Can relate to that, and re-visited the scene of mine just today. Returned home to find my motorcycle stolen at about the time the first pictures were taken. This has currently “pulled the carpet” sanity-wise this evening . I got it back thanks to a good Samaritan but have all the repair work to do yet again as regards ignition wiring and this time top yolk is well and truly broken. I won’t go into much more detail than this, what’s done is done. Had the police visit blah blah blah their hands are tied, and even have the identity of one of them but nothing can be done as usual.

  19. Mend well, hope you get back to riding again. Injuries suck.

  20. Thanks, I’m all good now, it was back in September. Broken ribs, bruised arms/ chest, a few cuts and a torn area you don’t ever want to tear where I caught the computer as I went over the bars, but I’m fully recovered now. The 6 weeks off swimming wasn’t good.
