  3. Built 10.12.97. 9k miles. Been stored/ unused for the past 10 years or so. Retired engineer owned it, lovely bloke. Sounds/ looks good. Just need to get it back here, s'all..

  4. Taking the paint off those mirrors, I think. Plus rear sets ain't orig, either.

  5. Nah leave the mirrors they look much nicer colour coded! Can’t really see rear sets, maybe just power coated.

  11. Very tidy example.
    As I have said before on here the DP rearsets are one of the best things I have done on mine.
    Red mirrors do look better, bubble screen is better for the occasional exploration of the performance on private or unrestricted tarmac.
    The only thing I don't like is the white number board on the nose, mine had one on and I took it off.
    Enjoy it - and Ride It !

  12. The 916 has - like for many others - been a poster bike for me for as long as I can remember. It'll be ridden, no question. Won't be no garage queen. Just need to get the bugger down from Yorkshire to here.

  17. The front number board is defo going for a walk. Undecided about the mirrors. I think I might ditch them, is the current thinking.
