Up early to get a resistance workout & swim in, then jumped on the bike for a 200 mile loop of the cotwolds, bit of lunch and an ice cream. Now home and about to take some good friends out for dinner to celebrate the end of another financial year at work.
Just got back home having dropped Carole and her brother off at Birmingham airport at 4:30am. Stayed at the NEC Premier overnight but still had to get up at 4am. Think I'm going to go back to bed for a couple of hours. Andy

Don't mention the World Cup. Italy have been unceremoniously dumped out by North Macedonia, not Macedonia proper, the much smaller north. To add insult to injury "macedonia" means fruit salad in Italian, careful what you order. They're not happy.
We’ve been round to see the mother in law this afternoon. Father in law has dementia and has just got home from a 6 week stay in hospital, he’s rapidly declined. Was going to cook this afternoon, but we may end up getting some fish n chips instead.
We went to Leeds to #2 sons for brunch. We had arranged to be there for 10.30am but SWMBO decided that #2 son/wife/family would still be on “old time” as they are always late for everything, so we didn’t leave our house till 10.40am. Seems that #2 son and wife have finally entered adulthood, were up and about and were expecting us at 10.30am “new time” so, of course, we were an hour late. Daughter in law wasn’t best pleased
I put the effort into travelling down to the South of England showground today and what a turn out with many riders showing their faces etc.
