Evening all Having recently retired from the Despatch Riding game I'm thinking of swapping my trusty Tracer for a new Multi V2S. I know it's hardly comparing like for like but I need something comfy for distance touring/general use to go with my ST4S (I'm a bit long in the tooth for serious mileage on it and it's a bit long in the tooth to be reliably trouble free out in the Euro-sticks) and (hopefully)soon to be completed TT1 Rep/900SS. So ..... questions ..... Is the screen noise a real piss-off? What sort of fuel consumption at a cruise? I'm happy enough to keep it to 80 if I'm actually going somewhere, rather than just out for a ride, and that's when I care about MPG. The ST gives me about 55 at 80, the Tracer nearer 65/70. Are they happy with E10? Do those Pirelli Scorpion, or whatever they come with, stick OK in the wet or do they need to come off sooner rather than later? Is the stock seat all-day comfy? The stock ST seat was good for about 100 miles, ditto the Tracer, and that's to an arse that used to do 400 mile days as a matter of course. And finally can you genuinely treat them like a modern Jap bike and just pour in petrol, check tyre pressures and fluid levels, lube the chain and get it serviced as per schedule? Thanks
