Out again, lumpy dry Moors are like a magnet to me. Day off the peddles tomorrow though, so thought I'd better put some effort into today...
Jeez sounds like ball bag trauma! I feel your pain, swimming was and still is my therapy after breaking my neck. Maybe we need a swimming thread, hadn't realised there were so many sporty folks on here. Most, including me, like Sunday ride-outs and lots of bacon.
lot's of sympathy here mhhb, 30 year chronic neck-pain sufferer, hope you improve and get decent movement/range back.
Thanks man, I’m doing ok, fused 4-6 but still able to ride a tt bike and many other things that I probably shouldn’t. Just got to get on with it, I’ve been extremely lucky considering.
I’ve got a knackered back after a car crash a few years ago, and swimming is one of the best things for it. We should start a knackered old farts swimming thread!
Just back from the pool, looking forward to warmer weather and outdoor swimming to get underway. Swimming Ullswater end to end in July, couldn’t have dreamed this a few years back. Onward and upward old farts
Kingston so far, stopped for a snow furrie briefly, serious chill factor now, arguing with the lovely sunshine.
No riding in Aus for a little while, tested positive for Covid this morning Typical,..3 jabs in the UK, kept my nose clean for two years then come over here and catch the bugger!! It’s thrown the household into disarray as everyone is supposed to quarantine for 7 days and not leave the house, the kids can’t do their activities or go to Kindy, my son in law can’t go to work and he’s a consultant anesthetist at the hospital, so a key worker. I’m stuck in the end bedroom like a leper and they leave food outside the door, so I feel like a right T.W.A….well you get the idea
I know I shouldn’t laugh, but after seeing your photos, and being stuck in the freezing cold UK, have no choice but to!
