i was at donny yesturday and i didnt see one person get checked for a back protector, they were more interested in making sure your baffles were in
I was at donington on Sunday and was checked for my back protector on every session, they only checked by feeling the back of the leathers, but people without had been sent back to the garages…
This is what it says on the MSVT so makes sense "When lining up for your sighting laps the pitlane marshals will do their visual checks (for wristbands etc) and give you a friendly pat on the back which may be accompanied with a prod or two to see if you are ticklish. The back protector should be full length to cover at least the majority of your spine" Think mine covers the majority, as much as it can just being in the jacket.
Black flagged in pit lane. Awesome effort. I saw the occasional check on back protectors on first and second sessions. At Bedford two weeks ago they physically checked every rider, every session.
Would love to be on the Donington day but at Jerez over the weekend before so V4 will be on its way home Could use the 1199 but May be trackdayed out by then !
Hi just a quick post to say I cancelled my place at the Donnington Ducati day for personal reasons so there should be a place available if someone is still looking. Cheers
I might know someone as well - that'll be me Already on the reserve list so will see if mine's the next lucky number................ god loves an optimist !
I had an email as I’m on the reserve list but went to book and it’s already gone. Will just have to be quicker when the emails land!
Hi Guys, this will be my first track day, so looking forward to it. I’m taking my SFV4S anyone know what tyre pressure I should be running?
Im sure others would chime in but without warmers and knowing what tyres - i would say 31f/29r as a starting point as a lot of variables here. There likely will be a tyre guy on the day that can advise too.
Same here. Done the Ron Haslam school a few times but never on my own bike so happy to take it steady!
