I know, I know,….didn’t expect a jot of sympathy after all the weather “ porn” I’ve been posting, but I like to try and take you all along for the ride I’m told the worst will be over in 2-3 days
Another 40 + up in the hills and woods. This trail also leads to Upper Upham, where it's said, they don’t like it up ‘em in Upper Upham That’s Liddington Hill Fort, then Swindon. From Savernake Forest, which is becoming my favorite place.
Managed 41 miles over two days on E-bike with large battery, and it’s been very reliable, always in the back of my mind about the derailleur seizing while cycling though. This included a good 6 miles of cycling with no battery just to get used to it and to warm up a bit, and it’s not that bad really, and much faster downhill because of the mass, managed 31 miles an hour today “in neutral” down a hill where I would struggle to do 25 peddling flat out.
Went to Walton Bridge thinking that it was the car meet but not on. Couldn’t resist the traditional picture, been done dozens of times but one day these willow trees won’t be here.
Another 40 ish miles up in them thar hills. Ventured down couple of lanes I’d not tried before, happened upon this strange (occupied) little place. Have I discovered The Shire?
Been a wet wet week up here in the north. Improved slightly yesterday and today, managed to get a couple of cranks in. Chased home by the sleet yesterday and beat the rain today. Cold and blowy now, big difference to March, i were averaging 120 miles and neck end of 15 hours a week, April not been so kind do far.
Yes dude,Vitus Escarpe vrx 2017 frame buteveything else was built up from components. It's made a cracking bike
Just back from a tough 40 mile, 4000ft of climbing, off road mountain bike day out. All off road, tough but great....
Basingstoke run yesterday. the picture third down needs extra scrutiny to see the hidden gem that this camera could not reveal:- beyond the bridge the canal extends almost straight for approx 1/4 mile and was a glorious sight with the eyes.
