I waved bye bye to my 900ss after 10 years of ownership, mixed emotions, I know I'll never own another but time was right.
Yes I do but not a restaurent where we are welcomed like long lost friends and made to feel at home. Tapas suits us and when it is fresh and seasonal, what more would you ask for ? Oh yes, chilled Estrella Andy
Been to Matlock Bath with my neighbour Steve. Good run out despite the roads being caked in salt still.
Nice 180 odd miles out, feel a bit tired now. More time in the saddle required. Only 7c this morning at 8:30. But sat outside eating brunch in the sun was lovely. Bike wiped down and ready for next time.
Spent 6 hours getting 2 broken laptops to connect yo my multistrada ecu in an attempt to clear service lights using melcodiag I failed So went for a tootle insteaf
On my way back to the UK. Minus 2 in Provence setting off! Mistral blowing through. Warmed up to a massive 8 degrees at noon nearing Dijon. 914.5 km travelled. 9.42 hrs hours riding. Max speed 126kph. Average speed 94kph. 30 litre tank helps! Passed at lot of petrol stations with no unleaded signs up. Home in the morning.
Fitted an EvoTech nav bracket to the handlebars and wired my Zumo into the supplied switched live. Good little piece of kit for £45 and as this bike is soon to be replaced, I'll survive without a tankbag, which would obscure the view. Not sure I fancy fitting one above the display, so will need to decide the long term solution.
No idea! Seems to be only 95/98 unleaded. Nothing on the news except the Presidential elections. Left the house with a full tank saw two stations with signs up so filled up again at 225 miles. Two more stations empty within the next 100 miles. Enough to get me on the tunnel and into UK but would have been worried on Ducati! The old GSA does a steady 55 to the gallon as long as you don’t ring it’s neck!
got both Uglies* started first prod so cheered up a bit. *first time since stolen for one, had to crudely twist a few wires together.
