Yep , sold mine with the bike , not having one on the new one as not legal in the pure sense of the work , yes you can generalise around the description, hope they don’t ask etc etc but if the shit hits the fan with a big claim against you the rider you really could be up the creek . I decided against it as one , too much to loose and also trips away could be an issue with new legalisation and stops and having your bike impounded could be a bit awkward….,
Pretty much my thoughts . Was even told you could lose everything if a third party involved and your bike found to be illegal . Seems mad that some still go ahead .
I don’t think anyone on here buys a full system without understanding the implications of doing so. Without tempting fate, the last standard system I had on a bike was…………a GPZ600 in the late 80s!
This is the PP with the anodised black bars and yoke that i mentioned a while back. Does look smart. Black bars are at 2.00.
Like the bars as well but they missed a trick with the 'select all' options list; no painted calipers...... Can't see the reason for putting on the rather agricultural looking bash plate either but each to their own.
Each to their own and if you can afford it then why not I just wonder how many miles it will be ridden to its full potential in its lifetime?
I went with the Rizoma pegs as well, they’ve very nice. Just waiting for some decent aftermarket rear brake and gear levers, then I’ll get those.
I have a trip coming up to Spain and Portugal and I have givi tank bag that I used on a previous bike but when fitted to my PP the right side of the handle bar (throttle) hits the bag when turning full lock. Any solutions out there other then buying another tank bag?
