Problem With My Supersport S

Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Greebo, Apr 23, 2022.

  1. Hi guys, help needed please
I have my Supersport S for 4 years with no issues until now, its occasionally misfiring & sometimes bucking, it almost had me off the other day very un-nerving now..i am guessing it could be the QS as i have heard of similar things like this before, but i do not know how to turn it off , i have looked at the programmes but cant fathem it.
[SMC are pulled out with it right now so they cant me in for a couple of weeks]
Can anyone help preferably who lives in Sheffield ?

    Cheers

  6. Hi Derek..
Update :- i think i managed to turn off the DQS.. display now just shows DQS [ not the "up & down" symbol as before]
Also when i was in the Menu i saw the "engine" symbol which gave the option of low-medium-high,i am not sure what this is for or what it should be set at, so i left it on LOW is that OK? ..... also on the display screen the DTC is set at 3 & the ABS at 2... can you please advise are these settings all OK.... i cant remember what they were prior to messing with the computer.
your advise would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

  7. Standard settings for ABS & Traction Control in the different modes are all in the owner's manual. If it's anything like my 2018Hyper, there's a Reset in all the modes to put them back to factory standard settings.
Low-Medium-High is normally engine power level...

  8. I have now set engine power level to "High" ...i think when i turned off the DQS i also must have accidentally changed the engine to "Low" & on the test ride i noticed the lack f power & the throttle didnt seem the same...so hopefully all should be OK now
