  6. If it's for the V4, it's a 36mm. I just went out to the garage and tried it.

  7. Well I just checked and the 36mm bi hex socket fits my V4S

  8. Thanks Guys for your help. I have a 36mm but it has only 6 flutes, so I thought it was too small. I assume that a BI Hex has the 12 flutes that I need.

  9. That’s correct

  10. Having read this thread I orderd what I thought was the right socket... It's a TOOLZONE 36mm BI Hex, but it doesn't fit... temp.jpg I'm confused as hell as to what I'm missing, can anyone help?

  11. I assume your bike is a V4 multi and not the PP

  12. That's correct a V4s with the double sided swing arm

  13. The OP should have mentioned that it was a DSSA as most, if not all previous Ducati liter-bikes+ had a SSSA using a 55mm socket.

  14. If you look at where the OP put his post and what bike the OP owns, it’s not rocket science to conclude they were asking about a twin spar swing arm Multistrada V4S. Andy

  16. Thanks.... I've ordered another, let's hope it fit's and the first was just crap!

  17. The new one arrived and it fits... it looks identical the one ymfb posted.
What I've spotted is my new one and the one shared by ymfb both seem to be curved, where as my first one that doesn't fit seems more angular. Is the angular one a crap design or did I just buy the wrong one?

  18. Maybe the 1st was a “chinesium” knockoff that only had a passing resemblance to socket sizing specs?

  19. I don’t know the answer to that, but I will probably put mine in a lathe and get the end squared off so it fits further on, I did it on the much bigger socket when I had a Panigale. It’s probably unnecessary but the better the fit the less likely it is to slip.
