Somewhere on here, the track boys said rule of 20/10. 20% lower than std on rear and 10% lower than std on the front. Might be a bit too much in the novice to start the day so try 10/5 and see how the tyre wears. Andy
I think I would wait and see what the weather is like first. Novice group on road tyres is unlikely to require much pressure adjustment. Should you suddenly start cracking BSB lap times a switch to slicks might be required.
I have a place booked on this but can't now make it. MSV will only offer a credit, not a refund, which isn't much use to me so if anyone here is after a space then drop me a PM. They will do a name change free of charge.
Tempted but not been on track for 12 years or so, fast group may be a stretch until I recalibrate…. Anyone ever tried changing groups on one of these days?
It’s a dUK day. From what I’ve seen of your other posts I doubt you’d have a problem: they tend to be slower than average groups
I'm trusting you're right as already suggested as well by @cookster Looking forward to seeing you all there as @ChrisQ (cheers Chris) has kindly sold me his place in the fast group which I wouldn't usually do unless it's a classic/pre2000 day. Add me to the list............. All I have to do now is convince @bettes to join in - you know you want to Ian !
Good luck with that, @Paul_748. How many years have been trying for now, mate? (It’ll happen soon enough)
Fair enough, well in that case, that's me booked in the fast group, will be on a bright yellow V4 Panigale @dukeman358 I may take up your offer on the group change fella.... I'm off to look at some D-Day Youtube vids to see what the crack is. Will let you know if that's ok?
Are garages on a 'first in' scenario? Also do we get any stuff via email that we need to sign/read or is it all done on the day?
